We went to Longwood Gardens with Chandra and another friend from church, Lisa. This was my first visit in the Spring/Summer seasons. It was so beautiful there. They had 3 treehouses there that put ours to shame! The boys loved them. However, they had a small fort set up with sticks and logs for the kids to play with and they had more fun with the small fort than the big treehouses. Probably the favorite feature of Longwood is all the water- especially in the children's garden where anything goes. The kids are allowed to play and have fun in the various sculptures and fountains. They especially loved a room with a dragon's mouth and paintbrushes. They put the paintbrush in the dragon's mouth and then paint away. They thought that was too cool. Hopefully there won't be repercussions when I go to paint our room!?!? You never know with McKay :-).
