February was a fun month. Early in the month Tyson and Cutler both invited friends over to decorate "Love Houses" (instead of gingerbread houses). They had a lot of fun with their friends and enjoyed seeing their houses on display all month. Cutler actually couldn't stand seeing it on display. He just wanted to eat it.

On Valentine's Day we had pink heart shaped pancakes. The boys were a little dubious about eating pink pancakes- but once they decided they still tasted yummy, they were fine! Matt gave me roses for Valentines day. They were in a long container and we decided it would be fun to have boat races in the container. So we had our own "Raingutter Regatta" for Family Night a few nights later. It was a lot of fun.
The moral of the night:
Stick to your task til it sticks to you; Beginners are many and finishers few.
We learned that if we don't stick to blowing the boat it wouldn't go anywhere- and we also learned that if we don't stick to it we never finish and finishing is more important than winning!
Cutler and McKay love to play together. I just found out the Kindergarten is going to be all day for Cutler next year. McKay is going to be soooooo lonely! One day I walked past them and they had turned the piano into a parking lot and were having a blast.
Cutler has had fun in a tumbling class. He enjoyed learning to do cartwheels, headstands, and lots of other things. These are a few pictures. They were sent to me by a friend we met there and I am not sure why they are so small! Hopefully you can still see them.
And finally, McKay pretty much imitates everything we say. He is so cute to listen to as he chatters away. One day, Matt said, "Holy Moley!" McKay repeated it and continued to say it all day long. He always rolls his head in a circle when he says it. I tried to video him a couple times to get him to say some of his fun words.
Love the parking lot/piano. Fun pics for fun people! See you soon!

Cute photos, and such fun activities. They are talking about all day kindergarten for us too.
ReplyDeleteAll the pictures were so cute!! I loved the video of McKay and the fact that he wouldn't say anything else until Cutler came!! So funny!
ReplyDeleteMcKay is so adorable. I love the videos and the pictures. Looks like you guys have made some fun friends over there. They do full day kindergarten for us too - William loves it, but I think for Jessalyn the half day would work better.
